ADHD/EXECUTIVE FUNCTION COACH
When I reflect on my journey as an ADHD and executive function coach, I see how nearly two decades of working with children and parents have shaped my approach. From the beginning, empathy and understanding have been at the core of how I help families navigate the complexities of ADHD and executive function challenges.
In my New York City-based practice, I’ve created a space where parents can feel supported as they learn strategies to address their children’s challenging behaviors. Through workshops, individual coaching, and group sessions, I strive to empower families to build on their strengths, fostering growth and connection in the process. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is collaborating with teachers to support their students in uncovering and building their executive function skills.
Through the “Calm and Connected ©” and “Managing Homework©” workshop series, I guide families in improving their dynamics and overall quality of life. By emphasizing the strengths they already possess, we work together to create a foundation of resilience and harmony.
My academic path began at New York University, where I earned a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. Later, I pursued specialized ADHD coach training through the ADD Coach Academy, further deepening my understanding of the unique needs of the ADHD community.
Beyond my private practice, I co-coordinate *CHADD Bergen County, NJ, leading monthly “Teacher Talks” and support groups. Sharing insights and connecting with educators and parents in this capacity has been incredibly fulfilling. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of presenting at the CHADD International conference multiple times and participating in national speaking engagements, broadening the reach of my work.
This journey has been both challenging and deeply meaningful, and I feel grateful to be part of the growth and success stories of so many families, teachers, coaches, and individuals.
